The gap between the thermocouple protection sleeve and the wall is not filled with thermal insulation material, which causes heat overflow or cold air invasion in the furnace. Therefore, the gap between the thermocouple protection tube and the hole in the furnace wall should be blocked by refractory mud or asbestos rope and other thermal insulation material to prevent the convection of hot and cold air from affecting the accuracy of temperature measurement.
The cold end of the thermocouple is too close to the furnace body so that the temperature exceeds 100℃.
The installation of the thermocouple should avoid strong magnetic field and strong electric field as far as possible, so the thermocouple and the power cable should not be installed in the same pipe to avoid introducing interference and causing errors.
The thermocouple should not be installed in the area where the measured medium rarely flows. When the thermocouple is used to measure the temperature of the gas in the tube, the thermocouple must be installed in the direction of the flow rate and in full contact with the gas.
