Ventilation duct manufacturers talk about three welding methods for fabric ducts: Method 1: Manual welding. It is widely used and easy to operate, mainly relying on manual adjustment, and the welding filler material adopts electric welding rod. Almost all materials can be welded by manual welding, and they can be welded even outdoors, so they have strong adaptability. Generally, direct current is used for welding. Electric welding electrodes, which can be titanium electrodes, can also be implied. The titanium electrode is easy to weld, the weld seam is beautiful, and the welding slag is easy to remove. But the disadvantage is that if it is not used for a long time, it needs to be baked again to avoid the accumulation of moisture. Method 2: Metal gas shielded welding. It belongs to gas shielded welding and arc welding. Under the action of shielding gas, the electrode is melted in the arc. In steel, non-alloy steel, low-alloy steel and high-alloy materials, metal gas shielded welding can be widely used. However, its protective gas is first a reactive gas, such as carbon dioxide or mixed gas. The disadvantage is that if it is welded outdoors, the workpiece cannot be damp, otherwise the protective effect of the shielding gas will be affected. Method three: tungsten inert gas shielded welding. An arc is generated between the tungsten electric welding wire and the workpiece, so the protective gas is required to be pure argon, and the welding wire is not charged, so it can be fed by hand or machine, or not. So whether it uses direct current or alternating current depends on the welding material. Inert gas tungsten arc welding is mainly used for the welding of thin-walled and medium-thick parts, and there are many kinds of materials, including alloy steel, aluminum, magnesium, copper, gray cast iron, nickel, silver, titanium, lead, etc.
