PT100 temperature sensor is a kind of instrument which converts temperature variable into standard output signal. It is mainly used for the measurement and control of industrial process temperature parameters. It usually consists of two parts: transducer and signal converter. The sensor is mainly thermocouple or thermal resistance; the signal converter is mainly composed of measurement unit, signal processing and conversion unit, some transmitters add display unit, some transmitters also have fieldbus function.
