How to clean the differential pressure transmitter

After the differential pressure transmitter is installed in the industrial site and used for a period of time, sediment or foreign matter will accumulate in the pressure pipeline of the instrument and the transmitter to varying degrees, which may block the pipeline of the pressure measuring instrument or cause measurement errors. In order to maintain the accuracy of the differential pressure transmitter and obtain satisfactory performance, the differential pressure transmitter and pipeline must be cleaned regularly. 1. Under normal circumstances, cleaning the differential pressure transmitter should be carried out in the following numbering order: (1) Close the high-pressure side conduit stop valve and differential pressure transmitter of the high-pressure side stop valve of the three valve groups. (2) Confirm that the balance valve is closed. (3) Close the low-pressure side pressure conduit shut-off valve and the low-pressure side shut-off valves of the three valve groups. (4) Slowly open the vent plug to relieve pressure. (5) Open the high-pressure side shut-off valve of the three valve groups and the shut-off valve of the high-pressure side conduit. (6) Open the pressure equalizing valve and purge the pipeline with the exhaust plug on the high pressure side. (7) Close the balance valve, the shut-off valve on the high-pressure side of the three valve groups and the shut-off valve on the high-pressure side of the pressure conduit. (8) Open the low-pressure side shut-off valve of the three valve groups and the shut-off valve from the low-pressure side to the pressure pipe. (9) Open the pressure equalizing valve and purge the pipeline with the low pressure side exhaust plug. (10) Close all valves and operate the differential pressure transmitter as normal. 2. If the inside of the differential pressure transmitter needs to be cleaned, please follow the following sequence: (1) Remove the hexagonal bolts used to clamp the pressure transmitter chamber cover, and remove the pressure transmitter chamber cover. (2) Clean the diaphragm and chamber cover with a soft brush and solvent. At this time, care should be taken not to deform or damage the transmitter diaphragm. (3) When reinstalling the transmitter housing cover, you can replace the gasket with a new one as needed. (4) The bolts and transmitters used for clamping the chamber cover should be assembled according to the specified tightening torque.
