The "Flexible Adapter" of Livestock Ventilation: How Fabric Ducts Solve the Challenges of Old Farm Renovations

In the intensive transformation of the livestock industry, renovating old farms faces a triple dilemma: "aging structures, cluttered pipelines, and tight schedules." Traditional metal ducts require welding, insulation, and flange connections, resulting in long construction cycles and high fire risks. Their significant disruption to existing building structures often traps renovation projects in a passive situation where "shutdown means loss."   • Broiler Houses:​ Considering the growth height of broilers in later rearing stages, lowering the duct installation height prevents direct cold drafts on the birds. Simultaneously, the low-velocity permeable airflow helps keep the litter dry, significantly reducing the incidence of coccidiosis.

It is important to note that livestock-specific fabric ducts must pass tensile strength and anti-fungal tests​ to ensure long-term stable operation in high-humidity, high-ammonia environments. As the livestock industry transforms towards "high efficiency, safety, and low consumption," fiber fabric ducts are evolving from mere ventilation equipment into an "invisible accelerator" for old farm renovations—solving the "slow pain" of on-site construction with an industrialized mindset.
