Air Distribution Mode of Fabric Air Duct

The reason why the fabric air duct is more popular than the traditional iron duct lies in the difference between its air distribution mode and the traditional air distribution mode. The air distributuion mode of fabric air duct has many advantages that the traditional air distribution mode can not expect. The seemingly simple fabric air duct has flexible and changeable design mode and rich and comprehensive air outlet mode. Each air outlet mode has unique characteristics and application advantages. The following is an introduction to some commonly used air outlet modes of fabric air duct.


1.Pure penetration model

It refers to the air distribution mode in which all the air volume penetrates from the surface of the fiber fabric and is sent to the ventilated area.The supply wind speed of this mode is about 0.05-0.25m/s.  It is characterized by low wind speed, uniform air flow and small temperature gradient. Mainly used in cold storage, fruit refrigeration workshop, electronic workshop and other places.




2.High humidity mode

This refers to the air distribution mode in which the air volume has a long grid to deliver air to the ventilated area. The supply wind speed of this mode is about 0.9-2.5m/s, which is characterized by low wind speed, specific wind direction and uniform airflow. It is mainly used in the natatorium and other places designed to prevent condensation.




3.Well-distributed air distribution mode

This is the air distribution mode in which the air volume is conveyed to the ventilation area from the multi-row orifice. The wind speed of this mode is about 7-13m/s, and it is characterized by small and same diameter (diameter in 30mm), large amount and uniform airflow. It is mainly used in places with large air volume, small space and high ventilation times, such as greenhouses.




4.Flat air distribution mode

This is the air outlet mode in which the air volume is conveyed from rows of orifice to the ventilation area. The wind speed of this mode is about 7-13m/s, which is characterized by neat rows of orifice design, the same diameter of single row orifice, wide air supply coverage and uniform air flow. It is mainly used in shopping malls, supermarkets, workshops, food workshops, logistics and storage, etc.



5.High speed air distribution mode

This is the air outlet mode in which the air volume is conveyed to the ventilation area from the large size hole. The wind speed of this mode is about 10-18m/s, which is characterized by large orifice diameter (diameter above 40mm) and large air supply volume. Mainly used for air supply in workshops.
